My kids loved the kid pool. It was great. Everywhere else we have been I had to be in two different pools due to the ages of my kids. It was nice to be able to have both kids in the same pool for once so I could play with them both. My son is 5 and my daughter is 15 months and they both had a great time. It seems we lose one every year in Southern Maryland. I bike primarily on the Western Shore and I feel just as safe there as I do about anywhere else. I agree, we could use more multi-use trails. Just to name a few: Indian Head Rail Trail and Laurel Springs in Charles and Three Notch Trail in St. Mary's. Next on my to do list? The trails in Calvert Cliffs State Park. Absolutely tragic. My teenager likes to run 15 miles at a time, but there is no place really safe and I worry about him.
