		<description>Absolutely tragic. It seems we lose one every year in Southern Maryland. I bike primarily on the Western Shore and I feel just as safe there as I do about anywhere else.

I agree, we could use more multi-use trails. Just to name a few: Indian Head Rail Trail and Laurel Springs in Charles and Three Notch Trail in St. Mary&#039;s.

Next on my to do list? The trails in Calvert Cliffs State Park.</description>

		<description>I was just thinking about the cyclist killed on Broome&#039;s Island Road last year. My teenager likes to run 15 miles at a time, but there is no place really safe and I worry about him. Of course, he&#039;s a teenager, so he gets mad when I ask him to give him his running route or take his phone. ;-)</description>
